Financial Proof (Japanese)
As the documents needed for Financial Proof vary between countries and/or applicants, please ask KLS before preparing any documents.

Documents required if expenses paid by applicant.


i Bank account balance certificate.
  Approximately 2,000,000 yen should be shown.

ii Certificate of Employment

Documents required if expenses paid by a parent, family member or relative not in Japan.

i Bank account balance certificate.
  Approximately 3,000,000 yen should be shown.

ii Copy of the family register or a birth certificate certifying the relationship between the applicant and the supporter.

iii Letter (Form A) explaining why the supporter is willing to accept responsibility and willing to guarantee to pay tuition and other expenses.

iv Certificate of income tax paid by the supporter issued by a competent tax authority showing gross income.

v Certificate of employment or a copy of the company register or, for a self-employed individual with no means to certify their occupation.

vi Chinese Applicants Only Original certificate certifying the relationship between the applicant and supporter by Chinese authorities("Kooshoosho")

Documents required if expenses will be paid by a supporter living In Japan.

i Certificate of income tax paid by the supporter issued by a competent tax authority showing gross income.

ii Certificate of employment or a copy of the company register or, for a self-employed individual with no means to certify their occupation, a copy of    the blue tax return stamped by a competent tax office is required.
                 *The Blue Tax Form will be returned.*

iii Letter (Form A) explaining why the supporter is willing to accept responsibility and willing to guarantee to pay tuition and other expenses.

iv Certificate of the registered seal impression or identity card.

v Residence certificate showing all family members of the supporter.

vi In some cases, a bank account balance certificate for the supporter.
