About KLS (Japanese)

Living and studying Japanese in Tokyo can be a rewarding experience. However, it can be difficult to find professional Japanese Language Instruction. Since 1983, we have continually sought to create an environment of the highest quality by offering a solid curriculum taught by experienced professionals.

At Kichijoji Language School or KLS, we are dedicated to achieving a society rich in the true sense of the word where there is mutual understanding and cooperation between people of different backgrounds and values. Our students range from those with career goals preparing to enter Japanese universities, colleges, and government or company training programs; to a variety of individuals working in or visiting Tokyo for a short while.

This combination of highly qualified, experienced teaching professionals and a student body composed of full-time or university bound students and part-time students living and working in Japan makes our school unique. Class discussions, school outings, and many other activities will offer many opportunities to make friends with students from around the world. We are proud of our school, our staff, and our skill at helping people learn Japanese.
